Edisto Beach is an incorporated City located in the Colleton County portion of Edisto Island, but most of Edisto Island is located in Charleston County.

We presently have one grocery store, one hardware store, one building supply store, three convenience stores, galleries and small shops, and approximately five restaurants. There are churches of many denominations located on the island as well. The island is ideally located only 45 minutes from Charleston, South Carolina.
